AI Writing in Your Language
You can now choose the language Scribeist uses for AI responses, generated writing, and editing suggestions.
- Select a language when creating a workspace
- Change it at any time in the workspace settings
- Give each workspace its own language, so different projects can use different languages
Clearer Word and Character Counts
Word and character counts now give you a clearer view of your writing. When you select part of a document, Scribeist shows the counts for your selection alongside the totals for the full document.
More Control When Importing
Imports can now preserve more of the structure of your original work.
- Import a file as one document or split it into separate documents
- In novel workspaces, separate a manuscript into chapters or into chapters and scenes
- Preview the result and adjust document names before finishing the import
- Bring in several Notion pages at once
Import from Novelcrafter
You can now import a Novelcrafter project into Scribeist. Your manuscript can be organized into chapters and scenes, and entries from the Novelcrafter Codex can be brought into Mythos.
Mathematical Equations
Documents containing mathematical notation can now render supported LaTeX or KaTeX as clear, formatted equations from the editor toolbar. Some LaTeX packages and document structures are not supported yet, so complex documents may not display exactly as expected.
HTML Exports
You can now export your documents as HTML files, ready to use on websites and other publishing platforms.
Smaller Improvements
This update also includes a smoother Timeline experience, small interface refinements, and fixes throughout Scribeist.
