BYOK Plans

You can now choose BYOK plans in Scribeist.

BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. If you prefer, you can connect your own OpenRouter setup and use that for AI requests instead of relying on Scribeist AI credits.

• New Hobby (BYOK) and Pro (BYOK) plans are now available
• Your own OpenRouter key can power AI features across Scribeist
• You still keep the same plan features as the matching Hobby or Pro tier

This gives you more control over how AI usage is billed while keeping the same writing workflow inside Scribeist.

Search & Replace

Search and replace is now available to make editing faster, especially in larger drafts.

• Find repeated words, names, or phrases quickly
• Replace one match at a time or update multiple instances more efficiently
• Clean up drafts, fix naming changes, and make broad edits without manual hunting

Blog Generation Redesign

The blog generation experience has been redesigned to feel cleaner and easier to use.

• A more streamlined flow from idea to outline to draft
• Better organization while setting up blog generation
• A more polished interface for reviewing and continuing generated work

The Research board is a dedicated space for collecting and organizing everything that feeds into your writing.

• Import files — drag in PDFs, Word docs, CSVs, Markdown, and plain text files directly into your research library
• Save links — bookmark any URL as a research reference with one click
• Filter & search — filter by note type, tag, or a keyword search across all your notes
