AI Chat now works like a familiar general-purpose assistant while giving you control over the workspace material it can use.

Add individual documents, folders, research, Mythos entities, a full manuscript, or an entire workspace.
The previous "@" mention system has been removed and replaced with the new Add menu.
Turn on workspace Search when you want Scribeist to find relevant passages.
Combine added context and Search in the same request.

Reading mode: Read a Novel workspace as one continuous manuscript or a paginated book preview.
Focus mode: Hide the toolbar, dim inactive paragraphs, and keep your writing position centered.
Split view: Open two documents/canvases side by side to compare chapters, notes, or research..

Version history has a new layout that makes previous drafts easier to manage.

Pasted Markdown now converts directly into editor formatting.

Workspaces without a cover image now receive a generated colour theme.
