NewImprovements

Timeline, Calendar, and Canvas Nodes

Plan story events, view them on a calendar, and connect more of Mythos to your canvas.

Timeline

The Timeline Board gives Mythos a dedicated place for story history, character arcs, world events, and major plot moments.

  • Timeline events can include dates, descriptions, colors, images, linked entities, and connected manuscript chapters
  • Entity timelines show the events tied to a specific character, location, group, object, or lore entry
  • Event images and colors make important moments easier to recognize across timeline and calendar views
  • Timeline views have been simplified by replacing the Gantt and Track views with the new calendar view

Calendar

Timeline events with dates can now be viewed on a calendar.

  • Month, week, and day views are available for dated events
  • Custom calendars support custom month names and month lengths
  • Event ranges can use start and end dates for events that span more than one day

Canvas

Canvas now has new node types for connecting more of your workspace visually.

  • Timeline Event node — place story events directly on the canvas alongside notes and ideas
  • Link node — add references, sources, inspiration, or external material to a canvas
  • Mythos node — bring characters, locations, groups, objects, and lore entries into a canvas
