Workspace Templates

Start a new project from a ready-made structure instead of a blank workspace.

• Open Templates from your dashboard, next to Import.
• Choose from eleven Scribeist templates: Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery & Thriller, Romance, Short Stories, Non-fiction, Research & Thesis, Blog, Notes & Journal, Newsletter, and Articles & Essays.
• Templates give you structure and guidance, not example stories. Placeholder documents tell you what to write and what to rename.
• Save any workspace as your own template from the ⋮ menu → Save as template. Choose whether to include your writing, canvases, research, timelines, Mythos entries, and settings, and pick a cover.
• New workspaces take their name, cover, and description from the template.

Document Statuses

Mark where each document is in your process, from Idea to Done.

• Right-click a document in the sidebar and choose Status.
• Rename, recolor, reorder, add, or remove statuses for each workspace under Workspace Settings → General.
• Export only what's ready: on the Formatting & preview screen, choose which statuses to export.

A New Folder Overview

Click any folder to see everything inside it as cards, in the same order as your sidebar.

• Each card shows a synopsis, its status, and its word count.
• Drag cards to reorder them. The sidebar updates to match.
• Click Read to read the whole folder straight through in reading mode, in any workspace.
• Add a summary for the folder itself under its title.
• On Hobby and Pro plans, let AI write missing synopses from each document, or summarize the whole folder, including folders inside it.

Canvas 2.0

The canvas has been rebuilt from the ground up. It is faster, smoother to move around, and has a lot more you can put on it. Your existing canvases carry over as they are.

New things to add to a board

• Frames keep related items together under a title. Anything inside a frame moves with it, and Present steps through your frames one at a time, like slides.
• Shapes for flowcharts and diagrams, with connections that snap to their edges.
• Checklists you can tick off right on the board.
• Drawing with a pen, highlighter and eraser.
• Diagrams (Mermaid) that you describe in a few lines of text and that draw themselves. Start from a template, or ask the AI to write one from your notes.
• Videos from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom that play on the board.
• Linked pages: The card stays in step with the page/document, and you can open it beside the canvas or read it right on the board. This will have more features tied to it in the future.

Canvas controls have also been updated to match what most mainstream canvas software use.

Templates

A new template gallery has ready-made boards for brainstorming, planning, stories, content, research and diagrams. You can also save any part of a board as your own template and reuse it on other canvases.

Bring your Obsidian canvases

You can import Obsidian canvas files, or a whole vault, and pick up where you left off.

Getting help

The canvas help panel now explains what each item is for, with keyboard shortcuts kept in their own tab. New boards also show a short Get started checklist that walks you through the basics by doing them.

AI That Works on Your Canvas (Beta)

Asking AI chat to create a canvas or change the one you have open has been updated with more options. For example, "make a mind map of my main characters" or "group these notes by chapter". While it works, the area it is working in glows. When it is done, the changes appear all at once, with new items fading in and changed ones briefly highlighted. If you don't like the result, you can undo it from the chat message.

When the AI creates a new canvas, its reply ends with a link to open it.

AI nodes on the canvas are also more useful. Connect notes into an AI node, or mention them with @, and it uses them to answer, summarize or brainstorm. You can also let an AI node search the rest of your workspace.

Inline Comments

Select some text and choose Comment to pin a note to it, just like leaving yourself a note in the margin. You can turn a note into a research note when it is worth keeping.

Comments are private to your workspace. They are left out when you share, export or publish a document.

AI Edits Right in Your Document

The AI Response tab is gone. When you use an AI action on selected text, such as rewriting, expanding or changing the tone, the suggestion now appears right in your document. The original text is crossed out in red and the new text is shown in green, so you can see exactly what will change.

A small bar below the text lets you accept, discard or try again. Press Enter or Tab to accept, or Esc to discard. For actions that give you a few versions, you can switch between them before choosing.

Word Count at the Bottom of the Editor

The bottom of the editor now shows the word and character count for the page you are on. Select some text to see the count for just that part. In novel workspaces it also shows your whole manuscript's word count, and every workspace shows how many words you've added today.

Prefer a cleaner page? Turn it off in Settings → Editor → Word count.

Other Improvements

• A new Get started checklist for workspaces replaces the old step-by-step tour. Each task shows you the real button to press and ticks itself off when you do it. You can reopen it any time from Settings → General.
• AI edit suggestions no longer cover the text you are editing.
• UI improvements

Claude Haiku 5.5 is now available for writing and chat through Scribeist's managed models and BYOK connections. It replaces Haiku 4.5 in the model list, and saved Haiku 4.5 selections in Custom AI Assistants now use the newer model.

Haiku's displayed credit multiplier is now 1x as opposed to the previous 9x as Haiku 5.5 is significantly cheaper than Haiku 4.5.

Actual credit usage is based on the cost reported by the provider for each response. Not the multiplier.

More Models in Scribeist

The managed model list now includes GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-5.6 Terra, Claude Sonnet 5.5, Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. They offer more choices for drafting, revision, and complex writing tasks across your workspaces. Some models require Pro access.

Claude Sonnet 5.5 replaces Sonnet 5 in the model list, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash replaces V4 Flash. Other lower-cost choices, including Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite, remain available. Saved selections for the replaced models use their newer versions.

More Direct Provider Choices

If you connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic account, you can also choose GPT-6.1 Sol, Claude Sonnet 5.5, and Claude Opus 5.5 directly.

AI Usage Multiplier Changes

Some models now show different usage multipliers. The multiplier helps you compare how quickly one model may use credits relative to another; it is not a fixed charge for each response. Your actual credit use is based on the usage reported by the model provider.

A multiplier going up or down does not mean your earlier responses used more or fewer credits than you were charged at the time. It updates the comparison shown in the model list.

Write From Right to Left

You can now set a workspace's documents to read from right to left. In Workspace Settings, open Editor and choose Right to left under Text direction. You can also choose Left to right or Auto.

Bring More Into Your Blog Posts

You can now add documents and other workspace material directly to a blog post, alongside research notes, so the AI has the material you want it to use.

You can now choose one of your custom assistants for blog generation. The assistant's instructions and selected model can help guide the post.

When you have connected and crawled sites, the AI is also better at finding relevant pages on those sites to link to from a generated post.

More Reliable Site Crawling

The Site board in Blog workspaces is better at collecting pages from connected sites and recovering when a request fails. A site may still fail to crawl if its hosting provider blocks automated visitors.

Make a Voice Your Own & Speaker Style

You can now create a writing style by writing your own guide instead of being forced to having AI analyze your text.

You can also create a Speaker style (beta) in any workspace. It helps guide dialogue for a character or person in a novel, podcast script, or blog post. Describe how they speak yourself, or analyze dialogue to capture their word choice, rhythm, slang, and recurring expressions.

You can optionally name a speaker to focus on when analyzing text with several voices.

Note: Speaker styles guide written dialogue; they do not create or analyze audio.

Keep Long Documents Easy to Navigate

You can now add toggle lists and toggle headings to a document. Put notes, outlines, or supporting details inside a section, then collapse it when you want a clearer view of your work. Choose a toggle list or one of three toggle heading levels from the editor's slash menu.

Bring Research Into Your Draft

Research notes are easier to use while writing. Drag a note from the Research sidebar into your document, or choose Insert into document from the note's menu.

Add Descriptions to Images

Select an image in the editor to add or edit its alt text. These descriptions help readers who use screen readers and stay with images when your content is sent through publishing integrations.

Use Part of an AI Response

Select part of an AI response to open a menu where you can copy it, insert it into your document, or replace selected text in your draft.

Continue an AI Chat With a Summary

Summarize a conversation and continue it in a new chat. The new chat keeps the useful context without carrying over the full conversation.

More Improvements

• Settings are easier to navigate, with clearer sections for Appearance, Editor, and AI, plus new controls for editor font, text size, and width.
• PDF and DOCX imports now bring in images embedded in the files, and PDF imports preserve more of the document's structure.
• Rename a workspace from its menu in the library.
• Enjoy a clearer sharing experience for documents and workspaces.
• Blog post titles now carry through more consistently when you share or export a document.
• Export previews and formatting have been refined, including how toggle sections appear in exported documents.

Made for Phones and Tablets

Scribeist now has a proper mobile and tablet experience. On phones, the workspace feels more like an app, with layouts and menus designed for a smaller screen.

Tablets keep more of the desktop experience, while portrait view makes room for a more mobile-friendly layout.

On phones, the floating formatting menu has been removed. Formatting tools now appear right above the keyboard when it opens. Tablets keep the desktop toolbar and floating menu, with settings to turn either one on or off.

Export formatting

Formatting and preview are available on tablets and desktop. On a tablet, turn your device sideways to use them. These controls are not available on phones because they need more screen space.

Canvas on touch screens

On touch screens, canvases have a toolbar made for your fingers, with Move and Edit buttons to choose whether you move around the canvas or work with its items.

Updated AI Models and Credits

GPT-6 Luna is now the standard AI model in Scribeist. If you connect your own OpenAI account, you can also choose GPT-6 Sol.

GPT-6 Luna and MiniMax M3 now use fewer Scribeist AI credits.

New AI Models

Two new models are now available:

• Z.ai GLM 5.3 Flash: A fast, long-context model suited to writing, document work, planning, and everyday workspace tasks.
• Qwen 3.8 Flash: A capable model for document analysis, revision, and general writing help.

As part of this refresh, Qwen 3.7 Flash has been removed from the model list.

Writing Styles in Editor Actions

You can now use your saved writing styles with Editor Actions.

This can be done in Settings -> Manage AI -> Editor Actions

Copy a Writing Style

Created a style you want to reuse or share? You can now copy the entire writing style with one click.

Starting Points for Custom Assistants

Custom assistants can now include up to four starting points that appear when you begin a new chat.

• Add suggested prompts that make an assistant's purpose immediately clear.
• Choose an icon and colour for each starting point.
• Preview how the assistant and its starting points will look in AI Chat before saving.

The custom assistant editor has also been redesigned to make its settings and Chat setup easier to review.

PDF Export Is Back

PDF export is available again for documents and workspaces. You can prepare a polished, shareable PDF alongside the other supported export formats.

Formatting & Preview

The Formatting & Preview export experience has graduated from beta. Use it to review your document, adjust its presentation, and check the finished result before exporting.

Faster, More Efficient Suggested Edits

Suggested edits in AI Chat are now considerably faster and use roughly half as many tokens and credits in typical editing requests.

• The AI can review the current document and return its suggested changes more efficiently.
• Suggestions work more reliably with the content language selected in Workspace Settings.

Credit use will still vary with the selected model, document length, and size of the requested revision.

Writing Analytics Fixes

Writing Analytics now counts and summarizes document text more reliably.

Workspace Search Fixes

Workspace Search has received reliability improvements so current and existing documents are easier to find and use as context in AI Chat.

Workspace-Wide Writing Sprints

Writing sprints are no longer tied to just one document. You can now write across any documents and your sprint will track every word you type.

• Track across files: Switch freely between documents during a sprint without pausing or resetting your progress.
• Refreshed sprint controls: Set word count goals quickly with presets (250, 500, 750, or 1,000 words), watch your progress circle fill up as you write, and check your pace against the timer.
• Pause, resume, or finish: Take a breather whenever you need to, or end early with a clear summary of your session and total words written.

AI Thinking in Chat

When working with reasoning models, AI Chat now shows you what the model is thinking before it writes its answer.

• Live thinking status: Watch the reasoning process in real time as the model considers your instructions, plans structure, or works through multi-step writing and research tasks.

Read While AI Generates

Long generations no longer lock your view at the bottom of the screen.

• Pause auto-scroll: Simply scroll up with your mouse wheel or trackpad while a response is streaming to read earlier paragraphs at your own pace.
• Jump to latest: A handy button appears whenever you scroll up, letting you instantly snap back down to the live generation when you are ready.
• Returning to the bottom of the chat resumes smooth auto-scrolling automatically.

AI Expand

The AI chat can now be expanded to take up the entire workspace. Giving it the feeling of using other AI chat interfaces, if you wish to simply chat with the AI.

Button can be found beside the "new chat" button in the AI chat.

If you select a document from the sidebar while the AI chat is expanded, the AI chat will go back to it's normal place.

Canadian English for AI Writing

You can now set English (Canada) as your workspace content language.

• Choose Canadian English in Workspace Settings → General → Content Language.
• AI Chat, writing suggestions, and content generations will follow Canadian English spelling, punctuation, and grammar rules (such as colour, honour, and centre).

New and Updated AI Models

We have updated the model lineup with new reasoning powerhouses, refreshed defaults, and new choices for writers bringing their own API keys (BYOK).

Scribeist Managed Models

• Z.ai GLM 5.3: Added to Scribeist Managed models under the Reasoning category. GLM 5.3 delivers exceptional structural analysis, deep project planning, adjustable reasoning effort, and full support for workspace tools.
• Model Refresh: Retired older models including Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite and Llama 3.3 70B in favor of faster, more capable current generation alternatives.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Connections

Writers using BYOK provider connections now have access to the latest frontier releases:

• OpenAI: Added GPT-6 Astra for state-of-the-art reasoning, deep analysis, and complex writing projects.
• Anthropic: Added Claude Fable 5.1 for demanding long-horizon writing and extensive revisions.
• Google: Added Gemini 3.7 Flash and Gemini 3.8 Flash for lightning-fast drafting and capable multi-step workspace assistance.

AI Tools

• The AI can now read any opened document without needing to give it as context. Simply ask it something like: "Edit this document...", "Analyze the current document...", "Using the current document...".

Note: Not all models perform well with AI tools. All Scribeist-managed models have been tested and work reliably. If you connect your own custom models through OpenRouter or select older models, they may not support AI tools or may perform inconsistently.

This affects the AI's ability to:

• Suggest edits (when Edit mode is enabled)
• Create or edit canvases
• Create or edit Mythos entities
• Read the currently opened document directly (separate from explicitly attaching it as chat context)

Bugs & Fixes

• Tool Execution Reliability: Fixed issues with multi-step tool calls, ensuring smooth execution when AI Chat creates canvases, updates Mythos entities, or edits documents.

• Timeline calendar dates now default to the first created event in the timeline (if that event has a date). This can be turned off in calendar settings.

Custom AI Assistants

Create your own editors, research partners, and writing coaches from Workspace Settings → AI assistants, then select them in AI Chat. Available with Pro and AppSumo Tier 4.

• Choose the model and thinking level, where supported.
• Set the assistant’s instructions and language.
• Add project context and choose Workspace, Research, and Mythos searches.
• Start from templates for editing, continuity, research, SEO, and publishing, or create your own configuration.

Your instructions become part of the system prompt, defining how the AI should act. They are included with every message while the assistant is selected, keeping its role and rules present throughout the conversation.

Prompt preview shows Scribeist’s underlying instructions alongside your own and the added context. Review what you are supplying before using the assistant, with a word count to help judge input size and likely token usage.

Scene Breaks

Mark a change in time, place, or viewpoint with a centered scene break inside your document.

• Open the editor’s / menu → Scene Break and choose from 10 styles.
• Use simple asterisks, dots, or diamonds, or choose a decorative flourish such as a flowering vine or leaf sprigs.
• Click an existing scene break to reopen the style library and change its design.

A Calmer Home for Your Work

The workspace library has been redesigned to keep the focus on your projects.

• Switch between grid and list views.
• Move a workspace or folder through a simple folder tree. Changes now appear straight away, so it is always clear where your work went.

Covers That Feel More Personal

Workspace covers now have more ways to match the project inside them.

• Choose from a set of cover colours and familiar cover designs.
• You can now update the workspace cover from your library instead of just within the workspace settings
• Change the cover design without losing the image you selected.
• See the same image cover consistently in your library and Workspace Settings.
• Choosing a workspace design has been removed from the creation flow in order to speed up creation. Instead it can be done from the 3 dot menu while hovering over a workspace in the library.

A Clearer AI Chat

• The fixed 50-chat limit has been removed on all plans.
• AI summaries for documents have been moved to their own area for adding them as context in the AI chat

Jump Between Headings

Documents with headings now have a slim navigation rail beside the editor. It follows your current section as you write, shows each heading when you hover over it, and lets you jump directly to any section with one click.

Heading navigation can be turned on or off from Workspace Settings.

Lower Credit Use for AI Features

Several AI features now use fewer credits, helping your monthly allowance go further. Credit use can still vary depending on the feature, the selected model, and how much material is included.

Footnotes and Fonts for Selected Text

Documents now support numbered footnotes.

• Add a footnote from the editor or with the /footnote command.
• Select a footnote number to edit or remove its note.
• Footnote numbers update as your document changes.
• Include footnotes in Word, EPUB, HTML, Markdown, and plain-text exports.

Choosing a font has been removed from the workspace creation flow and now works similar to other editors where you can choose the font in the editor itself. Allowing for text to have different fonts throughout the editor.

Better Timeline Ordering

Dated events now stay in chronological order, including events that use a story calendar. Undated events continue to follow the order you choose.

A Home for Non-fiction Books

When creating a Book workspace, you can now choose Fiction or Non-fiction.

Non-fiction workspaces bring your manuscript, planning, research, and references together. Citation and reference tools are available from the start.

Mythos can also help you keep track of the people, places, organizations, concepts, and events in your subject. This is just the start of non-fiction workspaces, there's more to come!

Research is not limited to non-fiction. You can still use sources, notes, and research search in other workspace types, and turn on citation tools in Workspace Settings when you need them.

A More Complete Research Library

Research now gives source material and your own notes clearer places to live.

• Keep imported sources and standalone notes together in a searchable library.
• Expand a source to see its attached notes without leaving the library.
• Open a source with its notes, citation options, and publication details alongside it.
• Edit details such as the author, publication date, publisher, journal, pages, and web address.
• Search, sort, filter, and select multiple library items.
• When deleting a source, choose whether to delete its attached notes or keep them as standalone notes.

You can write notes while reading a source or ask AI to create notes from its text.

More Ways to Bring In Research

You can now add research through DOIs, Zotero, and reference files, as well as document uploads.

• Paste one or more DOIs to import publication details and an abstract when one is available.
• Connect Zotero and import items from a library or a chosen collection.
• Import reference lists in BibTeX, RIS, or CSL JSON format.
• Review imported source details and see which citation information is missing.

A DOI or reference record does not necessarily include the full article.

Citations and References While You Write (Beta)

You can now cite sources directly in the editor and build a reference list alongside your draft.

• Search your research library from the citation picker.
• Insert an in-text citation, with a page reference when needed.
• Add a source to your references without inserting an in-text citation.
• Write or paste a manual reference when you need one.
• Change the citation style for a document and update its linked citations and references together.

There are 15 citation styles, including APA, MLA, Chicago author–date, Harvard, Vancouver, IEEE, and several journal-specific styles.

Citation and reference formatting is also carried into supported document exports.

AI Answers You Can Check

Workspace and research search now make it easier to follow an answer back to your writing or evidence.

• Answers can include numbered source links.
• A Sources section below the answer lists the sources cited in that response.
• Expand a supporting quote when one is included to see the evidence behind a source link.
• Workspace source links open the document itself.
• Research links open the relevant source or note, with the supporting text highlighted when a matching passage is available.
• Research citations can be copied or inserted into your writing when citation tools are enabled.

Research is still available through Chat's Add menu when you want to focus a conversation on particular material.

Simpler Search Choices in Chat

The Search menu now has separate choices for Search workspace, Search research, and, in book workspaces, Search Mythos.

Search starts off in new chats. Turn on the areas you want to use, or leave search off for a normal conversation about writing.

AI Can Now Help You Create!

Creating Canvases:

• Create a canvas from a conversation or material you have provided.
• Add and edit cards and connections on a canvas.
• Use existing Mythos entries as canvas cards in book workspaces.
• Create and update Mythos entries and relationships in book workspaces.
• Open a newly created canvas directly from its link in Chat.
• Undo supported AI canvas changes from the conversation.

For example, you could ask for a canvas connecting the characters involved in a mystery, or turn a set of notes into a visual outline.

Creating Mythos Entities:

• Simply ask the AI to create any type of Mythos entity
• Give the AI any amount of information you want included
• Ask AI to edit existing Mythos Entities
• AI will not delete entities

Currently local models to do support AI creation.

Suggested Edits, With the Final Say Left to You

Chat can now suggest text changes in your current document when you enable Suggest edits from the Edits control.

The proposed changes appear in the editor for review. You can accept or reject individual changes, or accept or reject all remaining suggestions from Chat.

Rejecting the remaining suggestions does not undo changes you have already accepted.

This first version focuses on text changes, not rearranging whole documents or rebuilding complex layouts.

Better Context and a Calmer Chat

Full text and AI summary remain separate choices.

There is also an optional preference to automatically add the current document's full text when starting a new chat. It is off by default.

The conversation itself has been cleaned up:

• Brief progress messages show actions such as searching, reading, or creating a canvas while they happen.
• Tables and other Markdown formatting display in the sidebar chat.
• Sent attachments appear in a compact expandable list.
• Long-chat preparation can be cancelled along with the request.
• When a chat becomes too long it will be compacted down to continue use.

Find Mythos Entries During Import

Book imports can now look for Mythos entries in the documents you bring in.

Choose Find Mythos entries with AI to identify characters or people, places, organizations, concepts, items, and events. You can review and edit the suggestions, select what to add, or return to the review later.

The review also supports timeline events, including their dates and related details. Existing Mythos matches are identified to help avoid adding the same entry again.

Easier Exporting and Sharing

Quick export menus let you download a document or your main writing without opening the full formatting screen first. Choose Word, EPUB, Markdown, HTML, or plain text, with Google Drive and Notion destinations available when connected.

Canvases can also be downloaded as a JSON Canvas (.canvas) for use in compatible canvas apps.

More Everyday Improvements

• Account settings, workspace settings, integrations, and billing now share a more consistent settings window.
• Refreshed icons, menus, and controls across the workspace.
• Supported free OpenRouter models are now included in the model choices for users with their own connection.
• Improved table controls for adding rows and columns.
• Improved typing after links, so following text does not unintentionally remain part of the link.
• Added Greek as a content language.
• Improved Notion page importing and page hierarchy handling.

Some features depend on your plan, connected provider, and selected AI model. As always, review AI suggestions and check the original sources before relying on an answer.

Annual Plans

You can now choose between monthly and annual billing for Hobby and Pro, including Bring Your Own Key plans. Annual plans save approximately 20% while keeping the same monthly features and AI usage allowance.

We also simplified subscription management, making it easier to compare plans, switch billing periods, and move between Standard AI and Bring Your Own Key plans.

Ask Mythos

Novel workspaces now include Ask Mythos in AI Chat. Turn it on to ask questions using your Mythos wiki, helping you quickly recall characters, locations, relationships, lore, and other details from your story world.

Mythos search has also been improved to find more relevant entities and details when answering your questions.

Clearer AI Usage

Monthly and trial plans now show remaining managed AI usage as a simple percentage. AppSumo customers will continue to see their exact credit balance.

Every Character and Story Entity in One Mythos

Characters now live alongside locations, items, organizations, lore, events, and custom entity types in the Mythos tab. You no longer need to switch between separate areas while building or reviewing your story world.

More Manuscript Context for AI Chat

AI Chat can now read much larger selections of workspace content.

The amount that can be read still depends on the selected AI model, but Scribeist now makes better use of each model’s available reading capacity.

More AI Models for Fiction Writers

Novel workspaces now include more models chosen for fiction writing including Qwen3.6 35B A3B, MiniMax M2.7, DeepSeek V3.2, and Llama 3.3 70B.

Model choices are also grouped more clearly, making it easier to find an everyday, advanced, reasoning, or fiction-focused option for the work at hand.

Romanian and Afrikaans

Romanian and Afrikaans are now available as workspace AI languages.

Advanced Formatting and Preview for Exports (Beta)

Faster Long Documents

We fixed editor lag that could appear in documents longer than 8,000 words. The editor can now handle documents of around 200,000 words before similar performance limits begin to appear, making it much smoother to write and navigate long manuscripts.

Better Blog Generation

Blog generation now produces more natural, better-structured writing while using around 50% fewer credits for typical long-form posts.

After testing the available models, we found that Claude Sonnet 4.6 currently gives the best overall blog results. It is now our recommended model when writing quality matters most.

Outline generation has been temporarily disabled while we work on a better approach. Existing outlines will continue to work.

Document Links

Links between documents now work properly, making it easier to connect related ideas and move between documents in your workspace.

Larger Document Imports

The document import allowance has increased from 5 MB to 25 MB across the files selected for an import.

Export Your Mythos

Your characters and worldbuilding are no longer locked inside a workspace. You can now export selected Mythos entities as Markdown, HTML, or plain text.

Import from Novelcrafter

You can now import a Novelcrafter project into Scribeist. Your manuscript can be organized into chapters and scenes, and entries from the Novelcrafter Codex can be brought into Mythos.

Mathematical Equations

Documents containing mathematical notation can now render supported LaTeX or KaTeX as clear, formatted equations from the editor toolbar. Some LaTeX packages and document structures are not supported yet, so complex documents may not display exactly as expected.

HTML Exports

You can now export your documents as HTML files, ready to use on websites and other publishing platforms.
