Available in: Blog workspaces only

Accessing SEO Tools

Open a blog post → Right Sidebar → SEO tab

SEO score:

Get an instant SEO score as you write, based on:

  • Heading structure (H1, H2, H3)
  • Word count
  • Slug optimization
  • Meta description
  • Keyword density

Score ranges:

  • 90-100: Excellent
  • 70-89: Good
  • 50-69: Needs improvement
  • Below 50: Poor

Target: Aim for 70+ before publishing

SEO analysis:

View detailed breakdown of your SEO performance in the SEO tab.

What's analyzed:

  • Proper heading hierarchy
  • Optimal word count (1500-2500 words)
  • URL-friendly slug with keywords
  • Meta description (150-160 characters)
  • Keyword density (1-2% optimal)

Get actionable suggestions to improve your score, like adding more headings, increasing word count, or optimizing your slug.

Keyword tracking:

Setting keywords

To set keywords: Right-click blog post → "SEO Details" → Enter 3-5 keywords → Save

Or during blog generation: Add keywords in generation options

Keyword density

Track how often keywords appear in your content.

Optimal: 1-2% of total content

  • Too low: Not enough keyword presence
  • Too high: Keyword stuffing (penalized)

Readability analysis:

Readability score

Measures how easy your content is to read using the Flesch-Kincaid Reading Ease metric.

Target scores:

  • General audience: 60-70 (8th-9th grade level)
  • Accessible content: 70-80 (7th grade level)
  • Technical content: 50-60 (10th-12th grade level)

Passive voice detection

Shows percentage of passive voice in your writing.

To highlight passive voice: SEO tab → Click "See Passive Voice" → Passive constructions highlighted in editor

Tip

Aim to keep passive voice below 10% for clearer, more engaging, and SEO-friendly writing. However, the ideal amount depends on your goals — certain styles or contexts may intentionally use more passive voice.
