How canvas export works
Canvases export as PNG images only. You export what's visible on screen, so position your canvas before exporting.
Exporting a canvas
To export:
- Open the canvas you want to export
- Pan and zoom to show the area you want to capture
- Click the three-dot menu in the top right
- Select Export
- Only the open canvas will be selected (cannot export other documents at the same time)
- Click Export
- Canvas exports as PNG and downloads to your device
Tip
Use "Fit to Screen" or zoom out to capture your entire canvas in one export.
Important notes
Export captures what you see:
- The visible area on screen is what gets exported
- Pan and zoom to position your canvas before exporting
- Make sure all important nodes are visible
Export limitations:
- Only PNG format available
- One canvas at a time
- Cannot combine with document exports
- Cannot export as PDF, DOCX, or other formats
