AI credits
Standard plans use AI credits from your monthly allowance.
Credit allocation:
- Free trial: 100 credits
- Hobby plan: 1,000 credits/month
- Pro plan: 2,500 credits/month
- Purchase additional packs: 500 credits
Monthly credits renew with your subscription. Purchased credits never expire and are used after monthly credits run out.
BYOK plans
If you are on a BYOK plan, Scribeist uses your connected provider instead of deducting Scribeist AI credits for supported AI requests.
Supported providers include OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Mistral, Ollama, and LM Studio.
You still need an active Scribeist subscription.
