What can be imported?
- Supported formats: .txt and .md files only
- Import limits: Up to 20 files at once, 5MB per file
- Each file imports as one document—files are not split automatically
Importing during workspace creation
When creating a new workspace, you can import files as part of the setup process. Select "Import" in the workspace dashboard upload your files, and they'll appear in the new workspace ready to use.
Importing into an existing workspace
To import into an existing workspace:
- Open the workspace
- Click the three-dot menu in the top right → Import
- Select your files (up to 20)
- Select the Board tab you wish the documents to be imported into
- Click Upload
Files appear at the root level of whichever board tab you selected when importing. They can be moved to folders or sections afterwards.
Note
If you need to import .docx, .pdf, or other formats, convert them to .txt or .md first before importing.
