Open the Content Audit
Open Site Board, choose a connected site, and select Content Audit.
The audit gives you:
- An overall site-health score
- The average health of scanned pages
- The number of pages scanned
- Site-wide checks and recommended fixes
- A table of audited pages
- A detailed audit for each page
Scores summarize the checks Scribeist can make from the latest crawl. They are a guide for prioritizing work, not a guarantee of search ranking.
Site-wide checks
The top of the audit summarizes signals that affect the connected site as a whole. Site Access shows whether important technical files and crawl signals could be reached.
If the audit says information is missing, recrawl the site after confirming those resources are publicly available.
Page audits
The page table helps you find pages that need attention. Search the table or sort it to focus on lower scores and important fixes.
Select a page to see its detailed checks, including information such as:
- Page title and description
- Heading structure
- Canonical and indexing signals
- Content and link checks
- Social metadata when available
- Clear recommendations for failed or incomplete checks
Fix the published page on your website, then recrawl it to update the results in Scribeist.
Basic and advanced checks
The standard audit focuses on the core checks available to your plan.
Eligible plans can turn on Advanced checks at the top of the audit. Advanced mode adds deeper signals such as structured-data coverage, social metadata, image quality, page-size indicators, and AI-discovery information when available.
Advanced checks are included with Pro and AppSumo Tiers 2–4.
Turning advanced checks on or off changes what is displayed; it does not alter your website.
Understanding different scores
Site health summarizes the checks across the connected site.
Page health average is the average result for the individual pages included in the audit.
An individual page may score above or below both values. Open that page's audit to see the exact checks affecting it.
Site Board versus document SEO
Site Board audits content that is already published on a connected website. The editor's SEO tools help you prepare a Scribeist document before publishing it.
