Supported platforms
Scribeist can connect to:
- WordPress
- Ghost
- Dev.to
- Hashnode
- Beehiiv
- Micro.blog
- HubSpot
Go to Account Settings → Integrations, choose a platform, and enter the requested credentials. Publishing connections are available across your workspaces after they are saved.
Keep credentials private
Create credentials for your own account and do not share them with other people. You can disconnect a platform from Scribeist at any time.
WordPress
Enter your WordPress site URL and an Application Password.
To create one, open WordPress Admin and go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords. The account needs permission to create or publish posts, and the WordPress REST API must be available.
Ghost
Enter your Ghost site URL and Admin API key.
In Ghost Admin, go to Settings → Integrations, add a custom integration, and copy its Admin API key.
Dev.to
Create an API key in your Dev.to account settings and paste it into the Dev.to connection in Scribeist.
Hashnode
Add a Hashnode access token and select the publication you want to use. Your Hashnode account and publication must support API publishing.
Beehiiv
Add your Beehiiv API credentials and choose the publication that should receive posts. API access depends on your Beehiiv account and plan.
Micro.blog
Connect the Micro.blog account and site you want to publish to. The connected Micro.blog account must be ready to publish and may require an active payment method.
HubSpot
Connect a HubSpot account with access to the blog you want to use. Your HubSpot permissions and subscription must allow blog publishing through its API.
If a connection fails
Check that:
- The credential was copied without extra spaces
- The credential has not expired or been revoked
- The account has publishing permission
- The selected service plan supports API publishing
- The site or publication URL is correct
After correcting the provider account, reconnect it in Scribeist and try a draft publish first.
